MISSION & GOALS
The goal of this position is to complete a mapping project using membership data to create an interactive map showing the geographic boundaries and location of our 11 local groups.
DESCRIPTIONVolunteers should:
work independently with data and mapping software to create an online interactive map.
- collaborate with a team composed of staff and volunteers while working independently to manage and complete tasks and provide regular reports.
- use discretion with membership data to maintain privacy and security.
- be a Sierra Club member.
- live in New York State.

Description
The Atlantic Chapter represents the national Sierra Club and members in New York State. We work to oversee and implement the mission of the Club and members while working on local and state policy affecting the natural environment and resources in the state, as well as the public health and social justice of New Yorkers.
