We are seeking volunteer disaster case managers who love helping people and have a passion for serving the community. The case manager will be responsible for conducting site visits, collecting critical information from survivors, performing a needs assessment, and ensuring resource delivery.
The ideal disaster case manager will also help the survivors set recovery goals and ensure that they are achieved. Must be willing to serve a minimum of 15-hours a week. Position includes some data entry. Great opportunity for college students seeking volunteer hours.

Description
VITAL Resource Solutions was established after the Great Flood of 2016 in Louisiana to restore hope and assist with disaster recovery efforts Greater Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. The organization connects flood survivors with critical financial and household resources. Our core values are: People, Knowledge, Giving back, Collaboration, Commitment, and Results; with these we believe that all things are possible.
We have enlarged our vision to include a school adoption program. In this program we work closely with an elementary school to improve the quality of education for our students.
VITAL is excited about working in the community to make the world a better place one neighborhood at a time.
