What is Mandela Day?
It’s more than a celebration of Nelson Mandela’s life and legacy, it’s a global movement to take action against poverty. People around the world honour Madiba’s work by taking part in 67 minutes of public service every year, on his birthday (18 July).
Want to turn you 67 minutes of activism into 67 days of real change?
Join First Class Volunteers for 67 Days Towards Education and work alongside teachers in disadvantaged schools, in Cape Town, helping in the classroom and with the English literacy programme. All while staying in beachfront accommodation in Table View with the iconic view of Table Mountain.
