The American Kidney Fund is looking volunteers with any medical background to assist at the Ultimate Women's Expo in Atlanta, GA, by performing a blood pressure reading and explaining the results to the participant. This event is part of a national effort to increase awareness of kidney disease and its two leading risk factors (diabetes and high blood pressure), while encouraging individuals to get and stay healthy.

We are looking for 6 volunteers for each of the following days:

-June 3rd 10am-5pm

-June 4th 11am-5pm


Volunteers are extraordinary people who reach outside the limits of expected financial compensation, and their normal obligations, to contribute their time and service to a cause they believe will benefit the lives of others. We look forward to working with you in the fight against kidney disease!

Attire: All volunteers are to wear clothing that is comfortable and presentable. They may wear scrubs or their organizations t-shirt


Volunteer Duties: To perform blood pressure reading and explain the results to the participant

The American Kidney Fund offers free kidney health screenings in communities nationwide, as well as extensive online health education materials and courses and a toll-free health information HelpLine (866.300.2900).
