GaitWay will be holding a training session for prospective and current volunteers. We will go over general information about the program and handling horses, as well as hands-on training for all volunteer positions available at GaitWaty. The training will take about 2 hours to complete.

Description
Since 2005, GaitWay has provided the Baton Rouge special needs community with Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies. Gai tWay strives to empower those facing the challenges associated with disabilities, accidents or illness through therapeutic sports riding and hippotherapy. Instructors, therapists and volunteers work with participants to set individual goals. All goals focus on physical, intellectual, social and emotional healing to enable riders to reach optimal functioning in their daily lives.
