Do you love board and card games?
Have you been looking for someone to play the classics with like Checkers, Trouble, and Sorry
Does the role of "Game Rules Enforcer" appeal to you.
If you answered yes to any of these questions, the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center is the place for you.
We are currently recruiting volunteers to serve as Games Ambassadors in our Neighborhood PACE Senior Day Programs. Volunteers can engage with particpants in multiple ways:
- Playing games one on one with particpants (Chess, checkers, etc)
- Organizing group games and taking part in the games while encouraging particpants to take part.
- Teaching new board games to participants and bering the "rules enforcer" during play
And all volunteers provide the much needed companionship and conversaton our particpants need to stay vibrant and connected!
