La Colectiva is a collective of immigrant women working together to eradicate the injustices that affect domestic workers, while fostering an organized environment where all women can build their dignity, power and leadership. La Colectiva has a vision of a community where domestic workers have the same opportunities and rights than any other worker. We are celebrating the 15th Anniversary of La Colectiva by starting a conversation about the aging of domestic workers, the care workforce that assist the elderly, and support us all. To make this celebration happen, we need YOU!
La Colectiva is looking for about 25 people who can help us celebrate by setting up the event and load out at the end of the evening, checking in guests, handing out translation equipment, and assisting the women of La Colectiva in welcoming guests and making each stage of the evening's events run smoothly. Knowing Spanish is a plus.
If you are committed to supporting immigrant women and domestic workers, please reach out to us! We want to work with you.
