Hello Volunteers-
The Brevard Humane Society has been given the opportunity to raise funds for its programs and services by parking cars (parking lot attendees) for the Cocoa Beach Uncorked event on June 3rd and 4th.
We will be parking cars in the vacant lot located across from the Sunrise Diner, immediately next to the causeway and 520. Volunteers will be directing traffic to park cars. The more cars we can fit, the more money we can raise.
The even starts at 1 for general admission and noon for VIP. We know people like to park early, so we'll be there setting up around 9. The sooner we have cars parked, the sooner people can leave. This event we will play by ear.
Event is 12-4pm
Volunteers can sign up for a time slot or the entire duration. You do not have to sign up for both days.
This opportunity can be done by small groups, young teens, and anyone else willing to stand in the hot sun trying to raise money for a nonprofit animal shelter.
Thank you,
Volunteer Coordinator

About Central Brevard Humane Society
Location:
1020 Cox Rd, Cocoa, FL 32926, US
Mission Statement
The Central Brevard Humane Society provides animal welfare shelter and programs that foster a humane ethic toward all animals. We also strive to deepen the community's commitment to spaying and neutering, as well as the adoption of homeless companion animals. We believe this to be essential to achieving our purpose of humane care and treatment of all animals.
Description
The Central Brevard Humane Society has served the Brevard Community for more than 50 years, making it the oldest animal welfare organization in Brevard County
Until 1952 Brevard County had no real support for lost pets and homeless animals. In August of that year, a group of animal lovers got together and the Central Brevard Humane Society was born.
Today, the shelter is open seven days a week to help lost pets find their owners and homeless animals find loving homes.
Using donations from the community, over 6,000 dogs, cats, kittens, puppies and other animals are cared for each year.
