Do you or someone you know need real-life experience to apply what you are learning in the classroom? Do you love working with children? Volunteer with Building A Generation and add experience to your resume! Our Nurturing Parenting Classes need volunteers to help support the Child Enrichment and Child Care portions. Our parenting classes are designed to help reduce the risk of child abuse and neglect and the curriculum is evidence-based and relevant. If you commit to 8 or 16 weeks of volunteering (we are flexible), we will happily pay for your fingerprinting. You will need your fingerprinting and have your TB testing done before the first day of your volunteering. You will be able to either focus on supporting Child Care for children ages 0-2 or a Child Enrichment curriculum for children ages 3-5 or both, depending on your interests. Sometimes older siblings attend and we supervise homework for them, too. We are looking for volunteers all year round starting this August. If interested, be sure to contact us. Come meet our staff and make a difference in a child's live and help build a generation of healthy kids.
