Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Wholly H2O

Seeking experienced development and fundraising volunteer/intern to research funding for an innovative water arts and education nonprofit in Oakland. We are uniquely positioned to get grants specific to water conservation and reuse projects, as well as art and citizen science projects with an environmental and water focus.

Now we need you to help us research and identify the best grants for the next 2 years and be the point person for preparing the grant applications. Please have awareness of grants offered specifically in California, and if possible, the SF Bay Area.

We received funding through a prestigious art grant this year, and we'd like to build on that success.

Specifically:

  • administrative funds grants
  • arts and environment grants
  • citizen science grants
  • water harvesting workshops in low-income communities grants
  • workplace giving opportunities
  • increasing individual donors

You'll set up all the applicable grants on an excel sheet with due dates etc, as well as creating tasks for us to complete to get the grants in on Asana.

We're also looking for a grant writer, so doing just a short burst working with us as a researcher is what this assignment requires.

This position can be done virtually or in our beautiful downtown Oakland office. We have online access to the SF Foundation Center.

Please have at least a few weekly daytime hours available to coordinate with the Director.
