As a volunteer working alongside our Wellness Department’s administrative staff, you will become a valued member of the Wellness Team and fulfill an important role. You will help scan medical records and work with computer data primarily so basic computer skills and being comfortable working with data necessary. Other tasks are assemble papers in folders, make appointment reminder calls to seniors and other tasks as they are needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Able to work independently once trained but staff always available for questions.
• Able to work as an integral member of the team.
• Interacts well with inter-generational teammates and clients
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
• Strong customer service skills on phone, and able to handle calls from seniors who might have hearing and cognitive issues requiring patience and compassion on occassion.
• Multitask between internal employees and external customer needs
• Willing to be trained and learn new skills: databases, customer management systems
