Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease is a 24/7 challenge...one that leaves caregivers often exhausted and in need of a little pampering.
Alzheimer’s Greater Los Angeles’ East Los Angeles office is hosting its 11 th annual Caregiver Wellness Day, Saturday, June 10 th at USC’s Keck School of Medicine. We need 30-35 volunteers to help us celebrate family caregivers by giving them some much needed rest, a bit of relaxation and a little inspiration.
There are three shifts available:
Shift One - 6:00 a.m. - noon (or 1:00 p.m. if you would like to stay for lunch)
Shift Two - 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Shift Three - 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (includes lunch)
For more information, or to sign up to volunteer, please email mgoldman@alzgla.org.
