Local Special Olympics Needing Volleyball Coaches

The Special Olympics JCPRD Rangers Local Program is seeking volunteer Volleyball coaches .

Practices: Mondays (August 28 - November 10) @ 7:00p-8:00p @
Horizon’s High School ( 5900 Lamar Ave, Mission, KS 66202).

Experience in volleyball basics required . Expected to attend regular practices and 2 KC area competitions (Oct 22 and Nov 10). Both head and assistant coaching positions are needed.

All of the athletes will have intellectual/developmental disabilities. The specific teams in need of coaches are lower-level, just learning the sport.

This role is primarily to bring in sport-specific knowledge. Coaches will work in small groups with additional volunteer support.
