We are looking for volunteers with library experience to assist staff with updating and maintaining catalog records using an electronic catalog. The ideal candidate works well independently in a quiet, low-key environment. This job is well-suited for a book-lover who appreciates careful, precise, and accurate entries that make it possible for readers to find the right book quickly. Note: our workstation is equipped with dual monitors for this assignment.

Our mission is to serve the blind and disabled readers in Colorado by providing books and magazines in large print, audio, or Braille format
Description
A free service to Coloradans of all ages who are unable to read standard print material due to visual, physical or learning disabilities whether permanent or temporary. CTBL provides audio, Braille and large-print books and magazines. We have served readers in Colorado since 1931as a member of the network libraries in the National Library Service for the Blind - Library of Congress. CTBL received the Colorado Association of Libraries (CAL) Library of the Year Award for 2017. CTBL was named the Library of Congress - National Library Service for the Blind and Disabled Library of the Year.
