Mission Statement
At RLC, our mission is simple: Connecting people to the realness of God. This mission fuels everything we do, big and small. When you come through our doors, we hope you'll experience an environment that connects you to the realness of God. An atmosphere of love, honor and generosity. An expression through worship that is vibrant, multi-cultural and multi-generational. An environment that is always growing, changing and impacting. A commitment to excellence in spirit, lifestyle, relationships, and ministry. A church engaged in the transformation of lives, our community and our world.
Description
Real Life Church began in the home of Steve and Tina Murray in the spring of 1998. The church began to grow and quickly established a strong reputation within the community. For years, the church met at area schools, with separate youth and office facilities.
In 2012, Real Life Church merged with Covington Christian Fellowship (CCF) and Pastors Kevin and Meg Holland, becoming one church: Real Life Church (RLC).
CCF started programs that are still flourishing today. The Storehouse, which acts as Covington's food bank, distributes over 300,000 pounds of food annually. We are the caretakers of the portion of Jenkins Creek Park that is open to the public. We have received many honors for community service, not the least of which was to be proclaimed by the Mayor of Covington as "Covington’s gathering place". Pastors Kevin and Meg have been well-known and respected in the community - in the past serving on the city’s Economic Development Council for 10 years, as Chair of the Chamber of Commerce, and as President of The Rotary. Kevin and Meg were co-Citizens of the Year in 2007.
God is doing great things at Real Life Church and in our community, and we would love for you to be a part! We believe that we can accomplish God's purpose for our lives and church Better Together.
