Everyone loves volunteering at a parade! Volunteers are needed to walk alongside the Neighbors van to help promote awareness about the programs, services and fundraising events at Neighbors, Inc. Volunteers can carry banners, hand out information and candy to kids along the parade route and walk with our mascot: Delbert the Duck. Delbert attracts a lot of attention from the crowd, which makes it exciting to walk with him. This is a fun family-friendly volunteer opportunity. Feel free to bring the kids or grandkids with you to help. Please dress comfortably and wear good walking shoes. Volunteers will be given a Neighbors logo t-shirt to wear. Bottled water and light snacks also provided.
