Volunteers are needed to prepare food in containers for daily feeding
Feeding volunteers are needed to walk to local feeding sites approximately 1.5 mile radius to deliver food to various colonies in the neighborhood
Obsreving volunteers are needed to unobtrusively watch the number of cats feeding at a colony site and record numbers and descriptoins of cats in each colony.
Trapping volunteers are needed to help our certified trappers with trapping and transporting the trapped cats back to our shelter.
Transport volunteers are needed to provide transportation to clinics for neutering and to provide transportation for food shopping

Pets for Vets NYC-Long Island, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that rescues and professionally trains shelter dogs to provide companionship and emotional support for military Veterans with PTSD. We are 100% volunteer-run, and we are always looking for volunteers and fosters to help in Brooklyn/NYC and on Long Island, NY.
