Provide music therapy sessions to patients in care communities or their home. Music therapy volunteers provide a calming environment and engage patients through music. Volunteers share their musical talents through singing or playing instruments.
Uses of Music Therapy in Hospice:
-Non-pharmacological support with symptom management
-Promote emotional well-being throughout the disease process
-Provide spiritual support
-Reduce stress for caregivers
