About: Daedalus Design Lab, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting education and the arts through project development is seeking a creative and enthusiastic researcher to aid our fundraising activities. Come join our team and help us identify potential partners that will help us reach our funding goals. As a research intern, you will be required to identify potential corporate sponsors, create basic organization charts, and gather contact information to be given to our outreach coordinators. Based on the information gathered we will reach out to the potential sponsors, and recruit them as sustaining members.
Project: The Ocean Bloom - A prototyping research and development project designed to help combat over fishing and ocean acidity by stimulating primary drivers, the base of the marine food chain.
Experience: Recommended to have some college experience. Some, but not required, knowledge of fundraising or environmental (oceanography) science.
Duties: Operating telephones and computers, data entry, Browsing and searching companies on web browsers (google).
Commitment: 3 to 5 months of consistent volunteering for professional reference and/or letterof recommendation.
Compensation: Payment for this position is performance based. A commission will be paid equal to 10% of all funding secured through your research.
Location: Office located on Golden West College Campus in the Student Annex building
Hours: Office hours are available Monday and Tuesday. Minimum of 6 on-site hours required per week. No Maximum hour limit, ideal for internships. Virtual Volunteering available to earn more hours.

Entrepreneurs are put on a path of financial health by guiding them through cash-flow analysis, profit/loss projections, set up of accounting processes, and once financial steps are complete entrepreneurs become eligible for start-up funds, business grants and investments funds for their venture.
CIELO’s community of experts also includes financial wizards that strengthen existing entrepreneurs to be "investment worthy" so they can secure larger funding and investment to grow their venture.
At the epicenter is a partnership between CIELO and Golden West College dedicated to transforming dreams into reality, and generating economic impact for the individual and greater community.ideas into reality.
