Sojourner Center is looking for some volunteers to help provide fun activities for our youth and teens over the summer. We are looking for fun, exciting, educational and innovative projects or activities that volunteers (can be a small group or a big group) are willing to provide for children ages 6 and up (could include teens 13+) on Tuesday and Thursdays from 10am-2pm during the summer. Think S.T.E.A.M. type activities.

We are looking for either a committed small group or multiple groups to run this Summer Camp program from June 13th through July 27th. We prefer that you take at least 1 week (2 days-Tuesday & Thursday from 10am-2pm) of the summer camp to provide activities but are willing to have your group cover one day of activities. Children and Youth Staff would need to approve activities.

Some examples:

Fitness Week- Learn yoga, learn about muscles in the body, field day, etc.

Art Week- painting, drawing, chalk art, learn about different styles of art, etc.

Geology Day- learn about the Earth's layers, types of rocks, etc.

Coding Day- learn how to code

Volunteers need to be 21 yeas of age or older and must complete background checks and safety training.
