Anaheim Independencia Family Resource Center is placed within a high-risk community to provide more concentrated and accessible resources to the surrounding area. The After School Youth Program is one of the key programs offered at Anaheim Independencia. The children who participate in this program come from families living under the poverty line, often times living in multi-family homes. These families have limited resources and through their participation are able to strive towards academic success.
We believe that each child deserves to be recognized and celebrated on their birthday in spite of what difficulties may be going on at home.
That is why we are seeking an outstanding individual who would like to help plan monthly birthday celebrations for the children who participate in the program. Your duties would consist of creating and handing out basic invites, obtaining donations, picking up cake/food, decorating and managing the celebration. A lot of the prep work can be done from the comfort of your own home!
Share your event planning skills to celebrate the children.
