PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Administratively, MEPS track, distribute and process contact cards, entering information in the SAF Case Management System (SAF Agent) following established procedures, or distributing cards to other Red Cross jurisdictions. They ensure families are contacted in a timely fashion and document all actions in the case management system.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Must commit to a minimum of one four hour shift per week and work can be done remotely or on-site at that Regional headquarters.
REQUIRED TRAININGComplete Red Cross on-line orientation
Complete case management training - two on-line courses, Fundamentals of SAF Casework and SAF Agent Lite
Complete in house SAF MEPS training - two hour instructor lead
Complete SAF Technology Training - in house instructor lead
