MISSION & GOALS
The Susquehanna Group of the Sierra Club is a local chapter of the national Sierra Club and covers Broome, Chenango, and Delaware counties, as well as parts of Tioga and Otsego counties, in New York state. We organize a variety of activities to encourage and support community residents to enjoy, explore and project our planet and represent the general Sierra Club organization in our geographic area.
DESCRIPTIONThis position facilitates online and social media communication, including sending emails to our listserv about upcoming events, posting to our Facebook page, and exploring other options to let members and supporters know about upcoming events and activities.

Description
The Atlantic Chapter represents the national Sierra Club and members in New York State. We work to oversee and implement the mission of the Club and members while working on local and state policy affecting the natural environment and resources in the state, as well as the public health and social justice of New Yorkers.
