Annual Tasks
1. IRS Filing
Work with the rest of the finance team and an accountant to file Hillside’s yearly 990. Send 1099 forms to personnel in January for tax filing.
2. State Requirements
File annual reports and forms with the State Corporation Commission and register annually for a Solicitation Permit from the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
2. Board Reporting
Prepare yearly Financial Statements and budgets for review by the Board of Directors.

Description
3.1 billion people on earth do not have access to the Gospel and we consider that an injustice.
We work to establish Christian community in nations where people have no access to it. Hillside staff members are unified and motivated by our desire to be poured out for God’s glory and plan for the nations.
We’re most known for our mission training programs. Our nine month internship program prepares individuals and families for long-term cross-cultural ministry, while our three month internship and short-term seminars train participants for shorter trips.
More than a non-profit though, we are a Christian community working to equip the church for cross-cultural ministry, especially among unreached people groups. We are privileged to partner with different sending organizations in order to send our internship training alumni to the field.
