ORGANIZATION: Ashley Valley Community Cats

Get cozy with cuties just like these two

If you love cats and kittens, we have the purrfect oppurtinity for you! Ashley Valley Community Cats is in dire need of foster homes for cats and kittens (especially this time of year during kitten season). We pull cats and kittens from high-kill shelters and give them a second chance at life through adoption events, but we are entirely foster-based, so it can't happen without YOU!

How it works:

We provide all medical care, vaccinations and spay/neuter vouchers. All you need to provide is room and board for a feline (or felines) of your choice. All volunteers work together to coordinate transportation to and from spay/neuter and adoption events.

How long will you have the cat?

Once approved to foster, you will have the cat(s) until it is adopted. Depending on the cat's age, this can vary. We have a lot cats of various ages available at any time to foster; solo adult cats, orphan kittens who need bottle feeding, mama cats about to give birth, and older litters that just need a place to crash until they're big enough to be fixed. Kittens typically cannot be fixed until they are 2 pounds (around 10 weeks of age), so the time commitment for kittens is usually around 2 months.
