The Family Services staff at Cook Children's hosts several events each week for patients, parents, and families to help them maintain a sense of normalcy during hospitalization. The events include:
Family Movie Night (weekly, evening)
Family Game Night (weekly, evening)
Family Picnic (occassional, daytime)
Parent Date Night (bimonthly, evening)
Parent Cupcake and Craft (weekly, daytime)
Parent Paint Along with Me (weekly, daytime)
Volunteers facilitate the planning and the events under the supervision of the Family Program Specialist.
