On Sunday, June 11 at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh- Main (Oakland) we’ll be hosting our 17 th annual Summer Reading Extravaganza , which is an all-day, family-friendly festival to celebrate the start of Summer Reading.
More than 100 volunteers help out on this day by helping to facilitate fun activities for families or handing out food and water. Activities including reading games, global language classes, arts and crafts, science and technology, puppet shows, music, and more!
We hope you consider volunteering for CLP's biggest event of the year!
You can volunteer for any or all of these shifts:
- 1:30 - 3:30
- 3:30 - 5:30
