American Lung Association in Delaware is currently looking for interns interested in furthering lung health initiatives across Delaware. The intern responsibilities will be to assist Program Specialists in a variety of activities such as:
Attend local health fairs
Implement programs in the community such as Open Airways for Schools which is an evidence based asthma management program for children
Attend coalition meetings
Participate in events
Office work as needed
Flexible schedule is a plus, some activities are weekend/evening.

Description
The American Lung Association in DE provides various programs and services throughout Delaware to support in the fight against lung disease, and to promote lung health. The ALA offers smoking cessation programs, COPD and Asthma support groups "Better Breathers Club," lead the Kick Butts Generation - a youth lead anti-tobacco organization, Asthma camps offered to children suffering with asthma, and much more! The American Lung Association works tirelessly to provide funding for research on curing lung disease, while leading the efforts to fight for clean air - including the Delaware Beaches new smoke free policies!
