Healing from complex trama takes more than just expert treatment and therapy; it takes people who care a lot...just like you!
Volunteers are an essential part of the daily activities at The Children’s Place. Our volunteers make a weekly, DIRECT IMPACT on the lives of the children that we serve.
Classroom assistants in the Day Treatment Services program work one afternoon per week from 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Volunteers will work directly with the teachers and the children to perform the following tasks: wake up gently from naps, prep/serve afternoon snacks, assist with afternoon activities such as outdoor time, greenhouse activities and prepare kids to leave for the day.
