The Love Pit Rescue is a 501c3 non profit working in the Dallas Fort Worth area. We are a pit bull type dog rescue group. We are foster based which means our dogs are pulled from kill shelters, neglectfull or abusive situations or from the streets. The dogs are then placed in foster homes with their Bully Buddies until they are adopted. TLP usually has about 40 dogs in our care.
The Love Pit is currently seeking Bully Buddy Training Director
The training director will be responsible for all aspects of growth and communication
within the training team. This includes starting new projects, assigning dogs to spDevelop ecific
trainers, checking in with and overseeing training team leads, communicating with both
the adoptions and bully buddy teams, etc.
Examples of future training projects include Rescue Kennel Club (RKC), Inmate
Training Program, Getting a Training Facility, Online Training Program, Veteran
Outreach, etc.

Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pit bull type dogs in shelters and on the streets through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and advocacy. Our goal is to educate the public about a breed that often falls victim to breed specific legislation, discrimination, and cruelty and promote responsible pet ownership through spay/neuter initiatives, vaccinations, and training resources.

The Love Pit is a foster based rescue that is based in the Dallas Fort Worth area. We rescue death row dogs from DFW shelters and place them in foster homes until permanent homes can be found.
