The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) will be holding a water sports experience for blind and visually impaired athletes. The night will include kayaking and paddle boarding on Vancouver Lake. We are looking for volunteer to assist in guiding our athletes through the water on either a paddleboard or kayak. Volunteers should have experience paddling, but it’s not required.

The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes [NWABA] enriches lives and provides opportunities for children, youth, adults and veterans who are visually impaired. When individuals with visual impairments experience sports and recreation they have more self-confidence and open up to the possibility that they really can pursue their dreams in both sports and life. Our athletes leave behind sedentary isolated lives and they gain skills, confidence and joy.
