Can you make your way around a Google spreadsheet? Do you enjoy meeting new people and talking with them about dogs? Can you work off a (very) basic script during a phone call? If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, you're can be part of our adoption team!
The GTTD adoption team screens adoption applications, conducts veterinary reference checks, and helps set up home visits and communicate with potential adopters. After additional training, adoption team members can conduct home visits and finalize adoptions themselves! This is the most important team in our rescue; without it, well, we're not a dog rescue!
Must be friendly, able to use Google spreadsheet, have phone access during daytime hours at least 1 day a week (vet hours are usually 8am-5pm), and willing to communicate and be self-sufficient once trained. Although this is a virtual job we are looking to find more local help (WNY region).
This is an ongoing weekly task.
