St. Joseph Home creates a home for children and adults who have severe/profound developmental disabilities. The Home, a non-profit ministry of the Sister of Charity of Cincinnati, offers a creative, loving environment for our residents, respite guests, and day program participants.
Who doesn't love to swim? Our residents are no different, and we are lucky to be able to provide them with a fantastic heated pool. It creates an opportunity for water therapy and allows our residents the chance to feel an amazing sense of freedom!
There are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved with this experience!
- Once a week swimming is offered in the evening from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
- Summer Camp starts June 7th and swimming will be offered even more! Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 11:15 am and again on Thursday at 12:00 pm to 1:15 pm.
There are many different ways to help out with swimming: lifeguard, swimming with a resident or helping get residents in and out of the water.
