Thinking about volunteering? Interested in early California history? Have an interest in military history? Then San Pasqual Battlefield State Historic Park might be the place for you!
The Park is just east of Escondido and honors the soldiers who fought in the battle between the U.S. and Californio forces on December 6, 1846 in the midst of the Mexican-American War.

Then Old Town San Diego State Historic Park or San Pasqual Battlefield State Historic Park might be the place for you! We are currently looking for volunteers and volunteer families who are out going, have great people skills and have a love for history. Our Volunteer in the Park program has many great opportunities for the whole family such as quilting, period cooking, blacksmithing, wood working and museum host to just name a few.
