St. James Immigrant Assistance helps refugees and immigrants to learn English, become citizens and connect to community resources. Current services include ESL Tutoring, Citizenship Preparation, Naturalization Assistance, and Elder Integration.

Assist staff, volunteers and clients to effectively communicate with one another. Contacting and meeting with prospective clients to assist with intake, calling past clients to gather information regarding their experience and satisfaction with the program, or calling current clients when requested. Translation of simple documents as requested.

Our mission is to promote an inclusive society and advance justice for refugees and immigrants through education, advocacy, and by helping the most isolated refugees and immigrants to learn English, become citizens and connect to community resources. We support the integration of refugees and immigrants into the larger community, and recognize that this is a shared process involving both immigrants and the communities into which they move.

We serve the community by providing free and low-cost Immigrant Assistance refugees and immigrants throughout King County.
