Join us for a rewarding experience!
Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. No matter what your interests are, we have an opportunity for you. Throughout the year we host fund-raising events and activities that bring people together to socialize and have fun all while making a difference in the lives of those with CF.
Current Need:
Great Strides is our biggest walk of the year, and it is right around the corner! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to help this event run smoothly. There are various shifts available for volunteers from 7 am to 2 pm for all skill sets!
- Greeters: Direct participants to the right area and assist with filling out participant envelopes.
- Walk Route Monitors: Cheer our walkers along the route with pom-poms and noisemakers. Keep them pumped up and motivated while walking. This volunteer position is great for groups!
- Route Marking: Assist with marking walk route and setting up signage along the route.
- Rest Stops Cheer: walkers and hand out beverages at one of our rest stops along the route. This position is also great for groups!
- Walk Setup/Cleanup: Join the early bird or teardown crew and help set up tables, tents, and chairs for the event.
- Cleanup- Help us cleanup the walk and load the vans - headed for our office located at 7101 Creednoor Rd. Ste130 Raleigh, NC 27616
- Unpack- Meet us back at our office to unload the vans
- Volunteer Planner- Help the day run smoothly and volunteers get where we need them.
