Hello Volunteers,
Come out for a beautiful day at the races. Join City Horse for our Horses and Hotdogs fundraiser.
City Horse is in need of 10 volunteers at least 18 years or older to support our fundraiser at Golden Gate Fields in Berkeley. The fundraiser is a lot of fun and it benefits students of the City Horse program.
Volunteers will be serving beer, hotdogs, mimosas, soda and water. In return Golden Gate Fields will make a donation to our City Horse program where underrepresented students learn horsemanship and receive academic credit. If you are available for all or part of the day, we would love to have you. This event is great for small or large groups of volunteers. For questions, contact City Horse today!

Description
CITY HORSE CONNECTS STUDENTS THROUGHOUT THE BAY AREA WITH LOCAL HORSE STABLES IN THEIR AREA. STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN THE CITY HORSE PROGRAM AS AN ELECTIVE COURSE THROUGH THEIR SCHOOL AND RECEIVE ACADEMIC CREDIT FOR LEARNING HORSEMANSHIP, GROOMING, NUTRITION AND BARN MANAGEMENT.
CITY HORSE ALSO PROVIDES OUT-OF-SCHOOL AND AFTER-SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE ABOUT CAREERS AND LOCAL PROFESSIONALS WORKING IN AGRICULTURE, VETERINARY MEDICINE AND HORSEMANSHIP.
