Our volunteers enjoy assisting with the day-to-day operations, programs, events, and activities of one of the largest and busiest USO Centers in the world.

With an average foot traffic of about 10,000 patrons through the NAS Pensacola USO Center each month, most of whom are young active duty A-school students away from home for the first time, we rely heavily on volunteers just like you to ensure that they feel comfortable and content while they are with us.

Please visit volunteers.uso.org to get started volunteering with USO Northwest Florida! You may also now volunteer at our new center aboard Corry Station!

Mission Statement

The USO strengthens America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation.

Description

The USO provides programs, entertainment and services at more than 200 USO locations worldwide, including Afghanistan, Djibouti, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Germany, Italy, Japan, Iraq, South Korea and the United States.

In 2016, USO centers were visited more than 7 million times by service members and their families. USO centers provide a warm and comforting place where service members can connect to loved ones via Internet or phone, play a video game, catch a movie, have a snack or just put their feet up and relax.

Here in Northwest Florida, we are currently home to three USO centers; Pensacola Regional Airport, Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport, and, our largest and busiest center, onboard NAS Pensacola. In addition to those centers, we support 9 other military installations and regularly attend many different types of community events. We fully rely on the help of our volunteers to provide the comfort and support that our service members and their families deserve. Please consider volunteering with us!
