Hagley Museum seeks enthusiastic volunteers between the ages of 16 and 18 for two camps this summer. More than just a summer position, it’s an experience you won’t forget. We are seeking role models whose example can be emulated by our young campers. With a variety of activities and your mentorship, you can make memories and lasting impressions. The children are excited about summer and you can be too. Get ready to be open to leadership, teamwork, creativity and mentorship, with activities you may not experience anywhere else but Hagley Museum Summer Camps.
Hagley Museum's summer camps are unique learning adventures, integrating history, science, and the arts. Children enjoy experiencing something completely new to them every day! Each group of fifteen children is led by two adults and three teen counselors. Counselors work approximately thirty-five hours per week (8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) during one or more weeks and have a wide variety of responsibilities, including: supervising children and keeping an eye out for their safety, setting up and cleaning up materials for various activities, helping children complete crafts and participate in activities, carrying the first aid kit, and providing general support to the instructors. Counselors must attend one day of training prior to the start of summer camp.

Mission Statement
Hagley Museum and Library collects, preserves, and interprets the unfolding history of American enterprise. Hagley is located on 235 acres by the Brandywine River in Wilmington, Delaware.
Description
Located on 235 acres along the banks of the Brandywine River in Wilmington, Delaware, Hagley is the site of the gunpowder works founded by E. I. du Pont in 1802. This example of early American industry includes restored mills, a workers' community, and the ancestral home and gardens of the du Pont family.
Hagley's library furthers the study of business and technology in America, especially the Middle Atlantic region. The collections include individuals' papers and companies' records ranging from eighteenth-century merchants to modern telecommunications and illustrate the impact of the business system on society.
The Center for the History of Business, Technology, and Society organizes and administers the Hagley Museum and Library's interaction with the world of scholarship. It brings attention to Hagley's research collections and generates intellectual dialogue at Hagley.
