Victim Services is a work division of the Lane County District Attorney's Office. Victim Services offers a free protective order clinic to the community Monday-Friday from 8am-10am. Volunteers and paid staff assist petitioners with completing protective order paperwork, accompanying petitioners to court, and making referrals to appropriate community resources. 2 day a week commitment is preferred.
Volunteer advocates are asked to serve 4-6 hours per week for a minimum commitment of one year.
***applications are accepted on a rolling basis, please not we may or may not have a training scheduled.***

The Victim Services Program has provided services to victims of crime since 1985. The program utilizes volunteers assigned to the court advocacy unit , and the protective order unit. The goal of the program is to provide comprehensive services to crime victims involved in the criminal justice system, whether or not they are involved with the prosecution of the defendant.
