"Be the change you want to see in the world."
As a member of the Mayor's Crisis Response Team, you will be deployed (at the request of LAPD and/or LAFD), to provide immediate on-scene crisis interventions to community members throughout the city of Los Angeles. Since tragedy occurs 24-hours a day, we are available 24-hours a day, but only a minimum of three 12-hour shifts are necessary to participate.
Ongoing training and personal development classes are provided on a monthly basis.
This work is as intense as it is rewarding, and we look forward to speaking to you further about the opportunity.
NEW MEMBER TRAINING: May 14th - July 5th. Mondays and Thursdays 6p-9p, at the newly remodeled LAPD Academy in Elysian Park. Contact us for more details!
