A background check is required for this volunteer opportunity and training will be available. Must be a quick learner and fast-paced.
- Office Clerk: Partner with our social workers in registering individuals and families in need to sign up for beneficial and vital programs. Help translate documents for others, or help them fill out applications. You can also enter data, make copies, file documents, and more.
- Facilitator Assistant: help assist our mentor in facilitating a class or sign up to facilitate your class once approved and agreed upon with our Director of Programs.
- Compassionate Greeter: guide participants to their designated areas for classes, registration, food pantry, etc. Greet people as they come into our organization, sit down, and pray with anyone needing prayer, etc.

Description
SA Hope Center is a Westside resource center empowering individuals and families in crisis to become sustainable through holistic individualized services, accountability and grace. We help working poor families struggling with food insecurity/crisis situations work one-on-one with a social work mentor to set goals and take the necessary steps to make positive progress in all areas of their life including employment, healthcare and finance education. In addition we provide nutritional assistance and clothing services.
