The College Dreams planning committee is a volunteer-driven committee responsible for planning and implementation of Pass with Flying Colors' annual fundraising gala, College Dreams. In 2016, College Dreams raised more than $170,000 to support more underserved Chicago high school students to be successful in college and in life.
TIME COMMITMENT
The College Dreams committee meetings from August through March. Meetings are scheduled monthly (in person or via conference call) for about 1 hour. Committee members are responsible for completing work between meetings for their assigned focus, such as silent auction solicitations, event logistics, and marketing. Members are also expected to attend the event, and assist with set-up and tear-down.

Description
Since 2010, Pass With Flying Colors has prepared Chicago’s first-generation students for college and career success. Our 8-year program serves first-generation students in the academic middle. Through research-based programs, 1:1 support, and college and career exposure, PWFC Scholars develop their vision for the future and are equipped with skills they need to succeed.
