History Explorers Family Event
"Village Intrigue!"
Saturday, June 10, 10am - 3pm
Families of all ages will become detectives and travel back over 100 years ago to solve a mystery! There is intrigue in the village, and visitors will discover the town gossip by speaking to costumed characters, collecting clues, and solving challenges during their visit. After gathering all the evidence, families will check to see if they unraveled the mystery correctly to receive their reward!
Volunteers will have the opportunity to work either at the admissions gate or in our Town Hall selling food and gift shop items.Volunteers shifts are as follows:
- Morning Shift: 9:30am-12:30pm
- Afternoon Shift: 12:15pm-3:00pm
This is a great opportunity to welcome families to this unique and entertaining experience! Volunteer one shift and get entrance to this event FREE!

Description
Welcome to the award-winning Midway Village Museum! The museum campus sits on a 148-acre campus conveniently located near I-90 in Rockford, Illinois. The museum is comfortably nestled among trees to create a beautiful ambiance at any time of the year. Our Victorian-era Village and Main Museum Center are centrally located on the campus within walking distance of each other.
