Last Chance Animal Rescue will be holding an adoption event at Waldorf Petsmart located at 3045 Festival Way, Waldorf, MD on Saturday August 4 and Sunday August 5 and we need help! A Last Chance Animal Rescue transport will arrive between 10:30-10:45 on Saturday and 11:30-11:45 on Sunday. Volunteers will be assigned a dog, given a name tag with your name and the dog’s name and you are given the dogs information. You will receive the dog’s bio containing all of their information and for the duration of the event volunteers walk "their" pup around and talk to potential adopters. Anyone interested in adopting is directed to the information table where we have adoption counselors who handle all the paperwork. Throughout the event we have staff members and experienced volunteers available to help our new volunteers with any questions or concerns. The age requirement for this event is 14 years of age with and active adult participant and all volunteers over 16 years of age volunteer on their own. If you are available to help, we would need you from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
