Purpose

To post & share valuable content via social media that is connected to our mission to help people and their pets. Also, to help us grow our social media audience.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Regularly post info, photos and graphics (that we supply) as part of various campaigns.
• Possibly create or source additional campaign-related material to post or share.
• Meet with communications team to discuss, understand and create a plan for timing and approach of each campaign
• Monitor and report results; make suggestions for improvements

Volunteers will be assigned individual campaigns and specific social media outlet(s), depending upon interest and experience. We currently post to facebook, instagram, twitter, Pinterest, Google+ and LinkedIn. We would like to expand to include others, too.

• Finding The Best Pet For Your Family
• NJ Pet Law

Qualifications

• Experience using key social media outlets.
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm for harnesslife.org mission and programs, including our emphasis on spay/neuter.
• Willingness to engage in consistent communication with HL Board member(s) re: progress, trends, changes, and additions to program approach or scope.
• Dependability and demonstrated ability to set appropriate schedules and meet deadlines.
• Works well independently and as part of a communications team.
