This volunteer will be trained to provide special projects to patients and their families from the bedside such as hand canvases, hand photos, crafts, and much more. Alacare covers all training necessary for volunteers including TB skin test, drug screen and background. No volunteer is asked to go into a home or home like setting until they are confident and comfortable. We hope you will consider volunteering with us!

Description
Enhabit is looking for direct patient and administrative volunteers to provide support to patients during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given choices as to how much time and what types of things you want to do.
A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by running errands for patients and families, playing games or reading with patients, walking and caring for family pets, or even creating a photo album of the patient and their family.
