Getting our rescued cats adopted takes a lot of work. If you can help with any of the following on a regular basis, we'd love to talk to you. Having a great description and photos/video of cats can make all the difference in finding our cats their forever homes. This currently involves traveling locally to foster homes to interact with the cats in their foster environment. Eventually you can do this work from our adoptions center when it's built!

- writing enticing but thorough cat profiles
- updating the website
- brainstorming new ways for cats to get noticed by potential adopters

Description
Surfcat Cafe and Adoptions is a 501(c)3 nonprofit cat rescue and adoption center. We are doing our part to keep Ventura County Animal Services a no-kill shelter by pulling shy or long term shelter residents, special, medical, and behavioral needs and allowing them to live in a free roaming social environment. We have decided to put the lounge on hold for now so we can save and rehabilitate more cats in need.
