Summer Volunteers

We are currently seeking volunteers to engage with students during the spring semester. We have three program areas that still need some additional help academic mentoring and tutoring, sports coaching, asst. coaching and score-keeping. If you want to serve in a faith we have opportunities for small group leaders, assistant leaders, worship participants, and hospitality-meal prep as well!

You will be serving...

  • With elementary and middle school students
  • One hour minimum a week
  • In the program area of your choice

By serving as an Emerald Youth Foundation Volunteer you will be able to gain experience working hands on with students and make a positive difference that can impact their lives, families, and communities.

We provide free training to ensure you feel prepared.

Emerald Youth Foundation is a Christian, urban youth and community ministry in Knoxville, TN serving over 2,000 young people annually. Emerald Youth’s ministry is implemented through a network of more than 18 churches and faith-based organizations to raise up a large number of urban youth who love Jesus Christ and become effective leaders who help renew their communities.
