This summer Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities has partnered with KTIS Radio for their annual Hands & Feet day of service project. This year it will be held on Saturday, July 22nd at the Ober Community Center located at 376 Western Ave N, St Paul, MN 55103. Volunteers will help do light yard work, pick up trash and drop potted plants and bird houses to homes in the neighborhood surrounding the Ober Center.
In order to do this, we are looking for volunteers interested in canvassing the neighborhood to talk with homeowners about this event, sign them up to receive help with yard work or to get a potted plant or bird house. We have designated two days for this, Saturday, May 27th and Saturday, June 3rd from 10AM - 12PM. We'll meet at the Ober Center ( 376 Western Ave N, St Paul, MN 55103) for a brief orientation and split up into groups to go out into the neighborhood. There will be coffee and light refreshments provided.
